How to Add the RSS Feeds to Your My Yahoo and Google Home Page
This page will assist anyone who would like to learn to how to add RSS feeds to their My Yahoo or Google home page. We will use the example of the Texas History Page here. If you would you like to have information about the latest Texas history news and events delivered to your computer automatically everyday, this can be done quickly and easily using your own My Yahoo or Google home page.
Most people using browsers on the Internet today have set one of the three main search engines as their home page when they open their web browser. The three main search engines are Google, Yahoo and MSN. The first to offer a personal home page was yahoo.com which offers the My Yahoo page. Google.com now offers a Personalized Home page and so does MSN.com.
If you already have a home page set up with My Yahoo or Google, perform the steps in “Adding RSS Feed to Your Home Page” below.
Adding RSS Feed to Your My Yahoo Home Page

- Adding the Texas History Page RSS Feed to your My Yahoo home page is as easy as clicking on the link below.

OR
- Go to Yahoo.com and click on the My Yahoo link in the top left hand corner of the page.
- If your My Yahoo page is not already open, “Login.”
- Page down to the bottom of the content on your My Yahoo home page to the blue “Add Content” link and click on this link.
- Go down to the blue “Find” box. Next to the grey button that says “Find” is a link that says “Add RSS by URL.” Click this link.
- Under the heading “Add RSS by URL” is a box. You will add the URL to this box by typing or copyng and pasting the RSS Feed Code below into the box.

- Then hit the “Add” Button. That’s it.
